We never would have figured out he likes this. But he kept getting into the freezer. He'd haul in
a water bottle and one of our plastic cups. He'd then fill the cup with the water bottle and get inside.
It freaked us out at first, but he kept doing it, so now we help him.
We usually leave him frozen for about
12 hours, then we put him out in the sun to thaw. We have no idea how long he can stay frozen, but 12 hours seems to
do the trick. Weird -- but really cool.
When he's ready to get out of the ice, his body vibrates super fast, shattering the ice around him. But often he'll
let himself slowly thaw out. Maybe it's therapy.
It looks like today he's going to stay in for the duration. Maybe he likes the feel of the warm brick on his
back and the ice on his belly.
